I hired an HR executive for my company sometime back and what I liked in her is her Punctuality & Confidence during the interview.
On the first day of her job, I realize that there is something wrong with her because of her behavior.
For this, I asked other people to be friends with her, have some chit chat, etc & later that evening, I had a little conversation with her to know what exactly is wrong but not much response. OK. That's fine.
The next day again, the same thing happened & for the next day too. Then I suspected that there is definitely something wrong with her and she is not what she was during her interview.
We checked her documents again & found something very unusual- she forged her documents (& it was very clean, hard to find) in order to get a good salary hike and she lied about everything.
Oh my god !!
I never ever thought that a girl will do that... this was not good & being an HR (authority), absolutely not good. I fired her & gave severance pay against the policy but I felt I must do & I did.
IF I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED ONLY HER PROFESSIONAL PART THEN OBVIOUSLY SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN A BIG PROBLEM FOR MY COMPANY.
YOU MUST KNOW A PERSON, "NOT PARTLY" but "WHOLE".
